Sat, 07/02/2011 (All day) Sun, 07/03/2011 (All day) Celebrate the fourth of July at Wiggins Park with two days of free family fun and concerts! Join us on the beautiful banks of the Delaware on Saturday for shows by the Air National Guard Band of the Mid-Atlantic, the second annual Bulldog Bike Hybrid Festival, and fireworks! Sunday will feature face painting, inflatable children's rides, family activities, concessions, and performances by some of the best children's bands, including rising stars the Dirty Sock Funtime Band!
Sunday Schedule:
1:00-2:00 pm: Give & Take Jugglers The Give & Take Show will suprise and please audiences with impressive juggling, comedy, and interactive involvement! Performers use an antique calliope, vaudeville traditions, circus arts, theater, and live music to create a lively, wholesome, family friendly show!
2:30-3:30 pm: Steve Pullara & the Cool Beans Band 2011 Grammy Nominated Producer Steve Pullara is a Philadelphia-based, New Jersey born singer/songwriter.artist whose musical roots go deep within many cultural traidtions. In his music you will hear influences from his Grandfather Giuseppe to Pete Seeger to Louis Prima. His mix of drawing and singing harken the days of the Gene London and the Sandy Becker TV shows of the 1950s and 1960s. With many years of entertaining kids and families in the Philadelphia area he has perfected a fantastic show!
4:00-5:00 pm: The Dirty Sock Funtime Band Voted the BEST KIDS BAND by the readers of TIME OUT NY KIDS, they're "infectious," they're "irrestible," they're the DIRTY SOCK FUNTIME BAND, the highest energy kids' rock band ever to break out of NYC! They are featured artists on JACK'S BIG MUSIC SHOW on the NOGGIN Channel with their hit songs 'Dino-Soaring' and 'Music Everywhere.'
