General Directions

From Philadelphia
From Ben Franklin Bridge - Take 1-676 to Exit 5A to Federal Street to Newton Avenue. Turn Right onto 11th street. Follow Mickle/MLK Blvd. ahead to the Waterfront.
 
From Walt Whitman Bridge - Take left-hand Exit 354 to I676 NB and the Camden Waterfront. Use Exit 5A for Mickle/MLK Blvd/Camden Waterfront. Turn right at traffic light onto Mickle/MLK Blvd. Follow Mickle/MLK Blvd. straight ahead to the Waterfront. For parking, follow as directed above.

From New Jersey:
From New Jersey Turnpike - Take Exit 4 to Route 73 North. Take I-295 South to Exit 26. Follow signs for Camden and I-676. Take Exit 5A for Mickle/MLK Blvd/ Camden Waterfront. Turn right at traffic light onto Mickle/MLK Blvd. Follow Mickle/MLK Blvd. straight ahead to the Waterfront. For parking, follow as directed above.
From I-295 - Follow directions from I-295 above.
From Route 42 North - Follow to I-676 towards Camden. Take Exit 5A for Mickle/MLK Blvd/ Camden Waterfront. Turn right at traffic light onto Mickle/MLK Blvd. Follow Mickle/MLK Blvd. straight ahead to the Waterfront. For parking, follow as directed above.

The PATCO High-Speed Line offers fast, comfortable and reliable alternatives to traffic congestion and parking fees around-the-clock and every day of the week with connections to SEPTA, via its four stops in Center City Philadelphia, and NJ Transit, via its nine stops in New Jersey.


Tickets to Camden can be purchased from self-service vending machines at each station with cash.  One-way fares are $1.40 from Philadelphia and $1.60 from other New Jersey stations.

RiverLINER Logo

Ride the River LINE for just $2.10 per one-way travel - it's easy to get to work, home, school and more with connections to PATCO, BurLink, and NJ TRANSIT Rail and Bus. With 20 nearby stations from Trenton to Camden, including stops right in the heart of the Waterfront, it's much more convenient than driving, and there is FREE parking at most River LINE stations.

Now, to make it even easier, you can use your valid NJ TRANSIT Bus or Rail Pass and ride the River LINE at no additional cost. Watch for even more service enhancements at RiverLINE.com.The River LINE operates from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays, Sundays and major holidays, and from 6 a.m. - midnight on Saturdays.

DRWC is coordinating with Coopers Ferry Partnership on the Camden Waterfront to market the RiverLink Ferry System, thereby further linking the two neighboring waterfronts. Attractions and partners on both sides of the river including  Adventure Aquarium, Battleship NJ, BB&T Pavilion, Independence Seaport Museum, Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing and  others will  help to encourage ridership through cohesive marketing messages. This system will provide a key component for daily visits and all major waterfront festivals and events. Visiting the attractions on both sides will now be quick, efficient and affordable.

NJ Transit offers multiple bus and shuttle routes to Camden and the Walter Reed Transportation Center. From the Transportation Center, you can quickly catch the NJ Transit RiverLine right the Camden Waterfront attractions.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is the primary public transportation provider for the Philadelphia metro area and the surrounding counties. You can connect in multiple location within Philadelphia to travel to New Jersey and the Camden Waterfront using both PATCO and NJ Transit.
