'Sharknado' fans can see screening after Camden Riversharks game
CAMDEN — The Camden Riversharks are getting in on the "Sharknado" craze with a special screening of the wildly popular Syfy movie on Saturday, July 26.
The screening of "Sharknado," on the ballpark's videoboard, will take place after the game on Saturday at 5:35 p.m. ahead of "Sharknado 2: The Second One," which premieres on July 30 on Syfy.
Fans will be able to sit on the outfield to watch the movie. The screening will begin immediately after the fireworks show and Kids Run the Bases presented by Silver Diner.
The Riversharks are offering a special $15 ticket and "Sharknado" T-shirt combo package for the game. Visit riversharks.com, click the "enter group code here" button located on the right of the screen, and enter group code "sharknado" to take advantage of the offer.
This offer will be valid while supplies last. Throughout the game, Syfy and the Riversharks will collaborate with special "Sharknado," stuff, including "Sharknado" tattoo giveaways and a "Sharknado" T-shirt toss.
Fans will also have the opportunity to take pictures in front of a "Sharknado"-themed green screen with props.
"Sharknado" tells the story of a freak twister that scoops up man-eating sharks from the Pacific and flings them at an unprepared Los Angeles.
