Be sure to march aboard the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial, the U.S. Navy’s most decorated battleship, and pay tribute to the thousands of sailors who fought for our nation’s freedom.
Discover the dangerous and exciting life aboard our nation’s largest  battleship when you take a guided or audio tour of the “Big J.” Hear tales of her missions in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Beirut conflict and Persian Gulf War.  Take the new Turret II Experience guided tour, where you will journey five decks to the bottom of the massive 16-inch gun turret.  Along the way, you’ll hoist projectiles, plot a firing solution, even pull the actual trigger to simulate the firing of these impressive guns!  End your tour with a walk down Broadway, the longest and most impressive passageway on the ship!

Audio tours launch throughout the day and feature the ship’s weapons systems and how the crew lived aboard this floating city.  Check out the newest exhibit, “A Dreadnaught in Vietnam,” about the Battleship’s experience in the Vietnam War. Then experience combat firsthand as you engage the new 4-D Flight Simulator, a jaw-dropping ride that lets you fly your own Seahawk plane into a dog fight with the enemy and land on the water next to the battleship.
For a true Navy experience, spend the evening in the Battleship’s award-winning Overnight Encampment program!  Enjoy dinner and breakfast served from the chowline, tour the ship, ride the Flight Simulator, and sleep in the bunks that the crew of the USS New Jersey once did!
