South Florida is a child’s paradise. You can get lost in the abundance of children’s activities! To save you time, we’re sharing our list of the top places that kids will 100% love.

  1. Miami Children’s Museum – A place where kids can pretend to be a doctor, fireman, policeman, construction worker, etc. Suitable for toddlers as well as older kids. Every third Friday of the month admission is free.
  2. Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science – science experiments, educational installations, a huge aquarium and a planetarium (viewing a 3D movie is included in the admission price). The museum is more suitable for children of school age, although there are also activities for kids.
  1. At Young at Art Museum, children can exercise their creative skills and use their imagination, ride the subway car, wander the labyrinth, and the youngest visitors can visit the fairy-tale world of Alice in Wonderland.
  2. If you are looking for outdoor entertainment, Pinto’s Farm is the place to go. Here you can ride a pony, take part in small tractor races, chase the cutest white rabbits and other pets, ride a catamaran on the pond and much more, All activities are included in the admission ticket.
  3. Miami Seaquarium – a paradise for marine life lovers! Orcas, dolphins, walruses, seals and many others welcome visitors and show them different shows.
  4. Museum of Ice Cream – yes, now in Miami there is a bright and stylish ice cream museum, which is interesting to both adults and children! It is quite small – 6 rooms with installations and the main attribute of the museum – a pool with colored sugar sprinkles (not real of course, but made of plastic). It is unlikely you will leave with new knowledge, but a lot of beautiful pictures guaranteed. The biggest minus – the high ticket price and the need to book online in advance, as the number of visitors is strictly limited.
  5. Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale. Among other things here you can take a realistic trip through the Everglades Park on a simulated speedboat or explore Mars in a space rover. In the museum’s gift shop you can try the food that astronauts eat in space.
  6. Pinecrest Gardens is a small but very picturesque park and botanical garden just south of Miami. In addition to the lush tropical vegetation, there is an aquatic playground and a contact zoo.
  7. If you get to Naples, be sure to stop by the small but very cozy Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples Most of all it will be interesting for preschool-aged children.
  8. Under this item should be a zoo, but since South Florida has so many zoos and other places where you can come into contact with animals, there will be a separate review on them. Stay tuned for our updates!
